Aire Serv® and Ferguson Keep Shelter Pets Healthy

FRONT ROYAL, Va. (Oct. 17, 2013) – Aire Serv Heating and Cooling of Front Royal, along with Ferguson of Winchester, donated and installed two commercial “Air Scrubber” units to the Humane Society of Warren County.

The activTek INDUCT 5000 utilizes tested ActivePure® technology to substantially reduce odors and treat contamination on surfaces. The INDUCT 5000 was inserted into the duct system as a low maintenance way to incorporate air treatment into HVAC systems, requiring no cleaning.

This generous donation was made in hopes that it could help to decrease the spread of diseases that are common in animal shelter environments. As a result of this donation, HSWC was able to make it to the end of June with no cases of upper respiratory infections or kennel cough. This resulted in no euithinizations at the kennel from respiratory infections.

“We really enjoy working and supporting the Warren County Humane Society,” said Aire Serv of Front Royal owner Tina Bramble. “We appreciate all the hard work they do to make sure the homeless animals of Warren County are taken care of while they find their “fur” ever homes. I look forward to a continued partnership between Aire Serv of Front Royal and the HSWC.”

The summer 2013 edition of the Shelter Tales Newsletter HSWC wrote, “We are grateful for this generous addition to our facility. Community support is what makes a good shelter a great shelter! Thanks Aire Serv of Front Royal and Ferguson.”
