What’s included with HVAC maintenance?

We follow a checklist to ensure that your entire HVAC system is working properly with each maintenance service we provide.

Your routine air conditioning service will include the following:

• - Thorough cleaning of condenser coils in the Spring
• - Inspect connections for loose contacts
• - Ensure that your thermostat is functioning properly
• - Measure your refrigerant pressure to ensure it is running your system efficiently and recharge if necessary
• - Lubricate motors and bearings for optimal performance
• - Remove brush and debris from around your outside unit
• - Clear the condensate drain if necessary

If you’re having your heating serviced, some different maintenance will be required:

• - Inspect gas line
• - Inspect safety controls
• - Inspect the heat exchanger for cracks, corrosion, or rust

How often should you have your HVAC serviced?

Your HVAC system should be serviced annually. Schedule service for your air conditioner in the spring and for your heater in the late summer or early fall. This will help you to avoid problems that could crop up later when you actually need to regularly use each system.
