About Churchville, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The Village of Churchville is located in Monroe County, New York approximately fifteen miles southwest of the city of Rochester in the northern section of the town of Riga.  Churchville was originally settled in 1806 by Samuel Church who purchased eight-hundred and ninety-seven acres of land in the area along the banks of Black Creek.  Upon Church’s completion of a sawmill in 1808 and gristmill in 1810, the settlement began to experience modest growth that was interrupted by the War of 1812 and did not resume until war’s end in 1815.  The construction of the Tonawanda railroad in 1837 accelerated development in the community and the Village was officially incorporated on September 21, 1852.  Today, the Village of Churchville is home to nearly 2,000 residents who enjoy the village’s proximity to the city of Rochester and easy access to Interstate 490 and Routes 33 and 36.  Located in the humid subtropical climate zone, the Village receives mild, pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters that make Churchville a great place to live or visit any time of the year!

The village is ideally located in the midst of New York’s Finger Lakes Region and features numerous outdoor recreational activities and sports of all kinds including championship golfing, tennis, fishing and boating, hiking and biking, canoeing and kayaking, and bird watching, just to name of few of the activities outdoor enthusiasts will find here!  Churchville County Park, located within the Village and maintained and operated by the Monroe County Parks Department, features athletic fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, picnic facilities, and fishing and boating on Black Creek, in addition to an ice skating rink and 27-hole public golf course.  The village is also home to The Parks at Churchville Golf Club, a top-quality 18-hole public golf course, and the Mill Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Raymond Hearn and Paul Albanese that features five sets of tees that adjust the angle and length of the course to accommodate different skill sets of golfers.

Surrounded by the cities of Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse to the west, north, and east and with destinations on Lake Ontario and the Erie Canal just a short distance away, the Village of Churchville serves as the gateway to Western New York and the many attractions and venues offered therein!
